This is a verbatim account of a conversation I had with a woman yesterday:

Her: And what's your name?
Me: Tigist
Her: Cindy?
Me: No, Tigist
Her: What? Can you spell that?
Me: T-I-G-I-S-T, Tigist.
Her: Oh, Cigarettes?

Really? All you have to do is listen to what I say and then repeat it; why is that so hard for folks?!
