The past is never dead, it is not even past.

Apparently studies show that individuals who experience the loss of a parent at an early age and have no recollection of said parent find that hearing recordings of the parent's voice triggers long forgotten memories! I know hope is for the hopeless, but I can't help but find the prospect of having a memory of my father to be extremely exciting! Now if only I could get my hands on a recording...
